Thank You Birds

Hello.

----------SHAKER SELECTION NEWS--------
First up, a HUGE thank you of all your support on my announcement post yesterday; I had so many kind comments and well wishers, especially on Instagram where I was sharing more behind the scenes photos. I really really appreciate the time it takes to leave a comment! It makes everything a little bit more worthwhile knowing that there are actually some people who read my blog! :) And thanks to those of you who placed orders for my shaker selections in my online shop too! I've been busy bagging and packing and having SO. MUCH. FUN. :) Just to let you know, some of the colours there are limited edition - once they are gone, they are gone! I'm working on some new colours though. :) Limited edition colours are Bridal White, Ocean Blue, Swimming Pool and Over the Rainbow. Thanks to some orders yesterday I now only have a few left of each of these colours.

Right - so now it's time to share a card.
Today I have another card I created with Simon Says Stamp's March Card Kit.  And this one is dedicated to YOU my sweet readers and commenters.
Today's card features a pair of birds sitting on a wire. One is bowing to say "thank you" to the other. :) The birds are from Simon's Songbird Branch die set. I simply die cut two birds from the same paper (one from the front of the paper and one from the back) and flipped one around. Does that make sense?
I embellished my journaling card by using the Medium Dot Line die to cut some semi circles on either side, then wrapped silver thread around it to which I added silver seed beads and Moonshine sequins. It's a different kind of shaker card.

The stitched border adds so much visual interest. I am seriously addicted to this die.

Have a great day, I'll be back soon.
Bye.

Gorgeous card Lucy and I just happen to need one just like that for a friend who has been so kind to me lately! Love how you used the sequins on the string - you are inspirational! xx
