Sew Nice...

Just here to share one of the cards I had published back in the May/June issue of Paper Crafts magazine.  What with the excitement (and illness) of the pregnancy, I forgot to share it. :)
I used Hero Arts' Sew Artsy stamp set, and the background is Canvas Stripes.  I stitched along each stripe to add more texture.

I just sent this card to my aunt who knitted me the sweetest cardigan, hat and booties for my baby.  She's an amazing quilter, so I hope she'll like the card. :)
Have a great day.

Fab card Lucy. Love all the stitching. Is it normal that the machine foot gives impression on the paper???

Beautiful. What a clever idea to sew along the stamped 'canvas stripes'.

Hi again,
it has just occured to me that all your cards open at the bottom. I like it. What inspired you to do this. Do you ever make them open from the side? What dimensions are your cards?
