New Baby Shaker Cards

Hello.
Today it's time to share my final Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser Time cards for May. And today I am featuring an adorable new set called 'Just the Two of Us' which contains lots of gorgeous animal stamps. I'm in love...
So, I created two new baby shaker cards with the set, as I could not decide whether to work with the pandas or the koalas!
First up, my baby girl version...
Koala Baby by Lucy Abrams
Here, I created a shaker window using patterned papers from Crate Paper's Little You and Pebbles' Special Delivery pads and my own I Love You Confetti Mix. The window was created with the Shaker Shapes Heart die I designed for Clearly Besotted. I just trimmed out the love part. :) The congratulations sentiment is from the New Baby set. Finally, I stamped the koala on more Little You patterned paper, adding pink glittery noses, then adhered to the card with foam tape.

And my baby boy version... I mean just look at these pandas? So so so so sweet. I used my MISTI to get that perfect black look.

The instructions are the same as above, only I used Crate Paper's Little You Boy pad, and my Starry Nights Shaker Selection, along with the Shaker Shapes Diamond Thanks die.

These were such fun to make. I just adore these stamps!

Sister...

Hi.
Today I am sharing my second Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser Time card. This one features a gorgeous floral stamp from a new 3 x 4 set called 'To You With Love'.
Sister With Love by Lucy Abrams
To make my card, I white embossed the flower on some Hero Arts Letterpress Paper, then softly coloured with my Gansai Tambi paints. I flicked the panel with more paint for a rustic look, then added stitching to one side once dry. Next, I stamped the 'with love' sentiment from To You With Love, then I adhered the panel to a Hero Arts notecard. I stamped the 'Sister' sentiment from Sugar and Spice onto more white card (the MISTI allowed me to stamp it twice for a super black finish) then die cut with the coordinating die. Finally, I adhered this to the card with foam tape and embellished with sequins from my XOXO Shaker Selection.

Hero Arts My Monthly Hero May Kit Launch Blog Hop

Hi!
Today I am joining in a blog hope to showcase the May My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts. This month's kit contains fabulous products designed by talented Kelly Rasmussen and is inspired by Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness campaign.
I decided to make a matching card and gift card envelope for my daughter's teacher using the main kit, and the Thank You Pair Fancy Dies add on
You Make a Difference Set 1 by Lucy Abrams
To create my card, I first stamped the 'You Make a Difference' message repeatedly on some of the blue card in the kit using Tide Pool Ink. I added hearts in the gaps, then die cut the Thank You from the centre of the panel. Next, I stitched the side of the panel before flicking it with shimmery spray and adding some tiny star confetti. I adhered to a Snow Folded Card, then added the tiny bits from the centre of the letters on top.

To make my envelope, I die cut the envelope from the same blue card in the kit, then assembled it, stitching the edges together to create a pocket. I stamped the sentiment using more Tide Pool ink, then again added mist and stars. Finally, I die cut the word 'You' three times from white card and adhered together. I added this to my envelope then coated with Star Dust Stickles for even more sparkle.

Time to Celebrate

Hello, and welcome to my first Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser Time posts.
Today I am sharing a peek at three new sets, all of which will be available on 5th May at 10pm GMT.
Time to Celebrate by Lucy Abrams
To make my card, I first covered a white notecard with a stitched panel of patterned paper from Crate Paper's Little You pad.  Next, I die cut a Large Tag from rustic card, then stamped with a sentiment from 'Let's Party' - a new 3 x 4 set. I stamped the present, balloons and cupcake, all from a new 6 x 4 set called 'All In Onesie' and the owl from 'A Class Act' - another new 6 x 4 set - onto some Hero Arts Letterpress paper, then watercolored all the images with my Gansai Tambi paints. Once dry, I hand cut them all out, then paper pieced everything to the tag. Finally, I threaded my tag with Lawn Fawn twine and adhered to the card with foam tape.

I love how beautifully all the Clearly Besotted sets coordinate... everything goes together so well.
I'll be back with more sneaks very soon... until then, be sure to head to Stephanie's blog to see what she's created. And check out this month's guest designers too. So much awesomeness.
Bye for now.

My card features stamps and vellum from the kit. All I added was white embossing powder and a white notecard. Isn't this sentiment beautiful... the stamps are designed by the talented Kelly Rasmussen and I love them.
