Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit Blog Hop and giveaway

Hello!
Today I am part of a blog hop to show off the wonders of the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. You should have arrived from Lorraine Aquilina's fabulous blog. If not, head to the Simon blog to start at the beginning.
This month's kit is a beauty and my card today uses a bit of almost everything in the kit. I used a couple of the die cut journaling cards to create a shaker card, adding the Painted Hello die cut, a stamped sentiment, some of the embroidery floss and some stitching.

I'm Here for You

Hello!
It's the 14th… and that means it's reveal day for the Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. This month's kit might just be my favourite ever… (OK, I know I've said that many many times, but I really do love them). I mean, just take a look:
Gold… pink… an awesome die… MME… eeeek.
So I've created a card with some of the gorgeous My Mind's Eye journaling cards and die cut pieces. I layered them together, added a cute stamped sentiment, some stitching with the lovely embroidery floss from the kit, and adhered it to some of the pretty papers

I inked the butterfly with the gold ink from the kit and added a couple of shiny gold hearts to tie in with the gorgeous heart paper. Isn't it sparkly!!!

Gold and pink… oh so good…
Pop back tomorrow for another card created with this gorgeous kit.
See you then.

Thank You Mice

Hello, and a very happy Sunday.
I'm dropping in today with a card I created with two Simon Says Stamp exclusive collaboration stamp sets. The sweet little mice stamps are from a collaboration set with Lawn Fawn called Merry Christmouse. Although the set is Christmas themed, I decided to make a non-Christmas card with a couple of the images. I paired them with a lovely sentiment from the MFT collaboration set Thanks for Being There

Love that little peeping mouse… I added a touch of watercolour to my mice's ears and cheeks.

Both of these stamp sets are limited edition and the collaboration sets seem to be selling out pretty fast! Love them ALL (and there are more to come too!!!! Yay!!)
Have a lovely day, and I will be back again tomorrow. Hooray!
Bye for now.

A Birthday Hi!

Hello hello!!
Today Simon Says Stamp is continuing its amazing STAMPtember celebrations by releasing another exclusive stamp and die set - this time, they have paired with the incredible WPlus9, one of my favourite stamp companies. The stamp set is a cutie - it's called Band Camp, and I have created a card with it to share with you.
I stamped the little drummer boy in Versamark and black ink onto watercolour paper, then clear embossed. Finally, I watercoloured him. The tiny details required a very small brush (and steady hand…). After cutting him out, I added my little guy to a watercoloured tag, adding the sentiment and some ink splatters. I used some Natural Cord to match my background cardstock which I splattered with some shimmery watercolour paint.

Love the detail… this is such a sweet set.

OK - that's all from me today, but head over to the Simon Says Stamp blog to see links to lots more cards created with this set.
Have a great day!

Season's Greetings

Hello.
Today it's the big Clearly Besotted release day!! Woo hoo. All the new stamps and dies are now available to purchase.
So I have one more teaser card to share with you… it features a die from the Tiny Trees die set, and a stamp from the Little Things set. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark on rustic white card, added white embossing powder and heat set. Then I inked over it with Simon Says Stamp's Lake Shores ink. Such a yummy colour. I inked up some cardstock with the same colour ink, then die cut the tree. I also inked the edges of a white notecard to draw everything in together.

I embellished my tree with sequins from my Opal Whisper Sparkly Shaker Selection.

I'm exhausted after this rather big week of blogging, so I'm going to take some time off. I'll be back soon though.
Bye for now.
