Studio Calico November Cards - Post 2

Hello. It's Day 2 of my Studio Calico November Card Kit shares, and I have 2 masculine cards for you, both featuring JUST the Cuppa Card Kit.  As I said yesterday - this kit is GREAT for masculine cards and projects...
First, a fun card featuring one of the cute washi tapes in the kit... I used Simon Says Stamp's Jumbo Jets  and Large Hearts dies on this card - and I am really pleased with how it turned out. :)

The kit has this lovely grey floss in it too... perfect match.

Next, a super simple card card for a special guy. :)

I used my Hero Arts tag die and Tiny Attacher for this card. The cute camera is cut from one of the sheets of paper in the kit. Love it.
hi
Ok - so that's all for today - but as you know, I have a ton more to share so I'll be back very soon!
Bye.

It's time for a Cuppa!

Hello!
Today is reveal day at Studio Calico which means the November kits are finally available to purchase. Subscribers can buy them now, and anyone else from midnight EST tonight. Yay!!
OK, so I have to confess that I fell in love with these kits, and created 20 cards. I actually had at least another 10 sketched out ready, but just ran out of time.
This month, I used the Cuppa Card Kit, the Cinnamon Spice Add On and the Gingerbread Add On. I also bought the Add On Patterned Paper (a single sheet of all of the papers in all the Scrapbook Add Ons... well worth it!!), and these cute Project Life Holiday Cards. I just could not resist...
So, my first batch of cards. All of these feature JUST the Cuppa Card Kit, which, may I say, is FAB. I mean, take a look:
Love the sentiment stamps, and the masculine feel to it...
So I went ahead and made five cards just with the kit. I have three of them to share with you today:
First, I had to use some of that yummy ribbon, and the cute chalkboard paper.

Love the buttons too... DSC_0067 - Version 2
Next up, a super CAS card featuring one of the cute bows.

The thought bubble die is from THIS Simon Says Stamp set.

And finally for today, another simple card. I liked the idea of graffiti on the wall effect patterned paper... and the sentiment stamps fit the bill perfectly.

Love these cute stars too... DSC_0081 - Version 2
Lots of black and white on today's post!! Unusual for me...
Well, I'll be back very soon with many many more November kit cards. :)
Til then, bye for now.

Christmas Snowflakes

Hello, and happy Friday. Yay! We're going to Ikea this weekend to get Lily a big girl's bed as she climbed out of her cot the other night. Excited, but sad that my baby is growing... how fast has the time gone.
Anyway - today I have a sparkly Christmas card to share that uses some new Simon Says Stamp goodies. LOVE the Merry Christmas die, and the gorgeous Maryanne Snowflake.

I used lots of glittery cardstock for this one. Turquoise and white is lovely for Christmas don't you think?

Have you made a start on your Christmas cards yet?
Have a FAB weekend, I'll be back soon.

Scary Spider...

Hello.

It's time for a new challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. Today's theme is Halloween, and the girls have created a gorgeous mood board to inspire you.
The green really called to me... and here's what I created, with a (pretty nasty) spider digital cut file, patterned paper from Basic Grey's Bowties 6 x 6 pad, and a sentiment from THIS SSS stamp set.

My daughter loves this card... she keeps asking me for the "pider". She's half afraid, and half wanting to kiss it. :)
Hope you get a chance to join in the challenge. There's a prize up for grabs:

Today I have a video and card over at Hero Arts. I'm really getting into the Christmas spirit, and have been making LOADS of Christmas cards. Such fun...
For tyhis card I used the new Snowman with Mittens stamp, along with a sentiment from THIS set, and the gorgeous Tiny Star Background. The tag is pre-printed with those pretty white snowflakes and comes from THIS set.
