Kind Bunny

Hello!
Today is release day over at Clearly Besotted Stamps. That means that come 10pm GMT tonight, all the new goodies will be available to purchase from the Clearly Besotted shop.
I am sharing my final sneak peek today… and it's of two new sets: Petite Plushies and Merci Beaucoup. The adorable Petite Plushies set contains lots of adorable critter stamps. And this bunny caught my eye straight away. (ETA - someone kindly commented and pointed out that this bunny is in fact a kangaroo!!! Well, now it's obvious when I look at it!! Funny how I saw a bunny…) Here, I watercoloured him and added a cotton wool tail for fun. I added him to a shaker card created with a Stitched Oval die, some Echo Park polka dot paper, and my Tinkerbell Shaker Selection. The lovely sentiment is from the Merci Beaucoup set which is a floral set with a selection of beautiful mixed font messages. Love them all.

Feeling Ruff

Hello, and happy Wednesday.
Today I have my third Clearly Besotted Stamps teaser card to share with you. It features stamps from the new Playful Pooches set.
To make my card, I first die cut a Large Tag from some Jen Hadfield patterned paper, then stamped the sentiment at the bottom and added some Natural Cord. I die cut a Stitched Rectangle from some MFT chevron paper, then adhered to a notecard. I stamped the little puppy on watercolour paper and heat embossed, then coloured with Gansai Tambi paints. Finally, I created a little rug for my dog using a scrap of white tissue paper. I added the rug and dog to my tag before adhering the tag to the card with foam tape.

Colourful Christmas Tags

Hi.
Welcome to Clearly Besotted Stamps Teaser Time day 2. Today I am sharing a peek at a set called 'Eat, Drink, Be Merry'. It's a fun mixed font sentiment set that is just perfect for your Christmas creations.
I decided to use the stamps to create a set of super quick and easy gift tags. We have a BIG family, which means lots of gifts at Christmas. My gift tags therefore have to be quick… and these totally fit the bill. :)
I simply die cut some tags from white cardstock and various polka dot papers using Clearly Besotted's Rounded Tag die. I stamped the sentiments with black ink, added some twine, and finished them off with sparkly sequins from my Fairy Lights Shaker Selection pack.

They are so simple - but these fabulous sentiments don't really need anything else.

And who can resist a little bit of sequin sparkle at Christmas time. :)

Jumping for Joy

Hello!
Today marks the start of Clearly Besotted Stamps November Teaser Time. That means, over the next four days, I will be sharing cards created with brand new stamps.
So, to start things off, I have a shaker card. It features a new set called Nutty but Nice, which is full of adorable squirrel images and matching sentiments. To make my card, I combined the stamp set with a previously released die I designed for Clearly Besotted called Shaker Shapes Oval Yay. I die cut the Yay from a white Stitched Rectangle die cut piece, stamped the sentiment beneath, backed the window with acetate, and added foam tape. I trimmed some green paper from Pebbles' Harvest pad and stuck to a notecard, sprinkled on some of my Lime Cordial Shaker Selection, then adhered the white panel on top. Finally, I added a little squirrel cut from some Pebbles paper.

This set is just my cup of tea - cute, cute CUTE!!!

Animal Celebrations

Hi! I'm back!!! I've been on a vacation with my family and I am feeling rested and happy. :)
Today I'm sharing a peek at some projects I have published in Issue 140 of Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine. My feature is all about lines and includes an article along with 6 cards.
Here's one of the cards - it features Clearly Besotted's sweet Best Birthday stamp set. Aren't these balloons fab? Here, I combined them with a sentiment from Hero Arts Tassels set and added a scattering of sequins.

So simple - I just stamped the balloons on patterned paper and hand cut.

And here's a peek at one of the other cards I have published… These balloon stamps are fun to use in other ways too. :)
