I love you...

Hello!
Today I have a card on the Simon Says Stamp blog created with some fun Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp products.
Love love love the arrow and sentiments from Hero Arts Arrow Messages set, and I thought they would look really cute with the little bear from Abby's Spring Showers. I stamped him on some pre-watercoloured paper, then added some hearts, gold sequins and watercolour splotches for extra detail. (Adore this colour of watercolour… my favourite!!!)

I also added a bit of lovely washi tape too… so pretty.

Rainbow Bunnies

Hello.
Today I have a rainbow of cute bunnies to welcome in the weekend.
I just love the way these bunnies from Simon Says Stamp's Abby's Spring Showers set look like they have their arms around each other when lined up like this. They are just so CUTE! For this card, I could not resist colouring them in rainbow colours with my Gansai Tambi watercolours. And I thought this sentiment from the Locking Hearts set worked perfectly. :)

I added drops of White Opal Liquid Pearls to my bunnies' tails for a tiny bit of shimmer. :)

Super simple, but fun too. Just how I like my cards to be. :)
Have a great weekend.
Bye!

You Are Remarkable

Hello.
For today's card, I wanted to show you how great the Simon Says Stamp Hybrid Inks are for second generation stamping. If you are not familiar with this technique, this is when you stamp the image once, then without re-inking the stamp, you stamp it again. On my card, all the flowers are stamped with the same colour ink - Coral Reef. The lighter colour you can see is achieved through second generation stamping. Cool, huh!
I love the slightly textured and vintage-y look achieved with this ink and the rustic, recycled card I used. It almost looks like fabric, I think.
After stamping all my flowers (which are from Simon's Life is a Journey stamp set), I die cut with the stitched frame die, stamped the sentiment from the Hand Lettered Encouragement set, then added tiny red seed beads to the centre of the flowers, in the same way as I did it on THIS card.

The frame was then adhered to some Burnt Orange cardstock. It's a great match to the Coral Reef ink.

And that's it - so easy, you could make a bunch of these in no time.
Hope you enjoy your day, I'll be back very soon.

Birthday Blooms

Hello, and happy Monday.
Today I (finally) have a card to share, and it is created with lots of gorgeous Simon Says Stamp products.
First up, I stamped some Artful Flowers onto Neenah white cardstock with Versamark, and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I hand cut them out. Next, I used a small piece of sponge (cut from a regular cheap bath sponge) and sponged on some Maliblue Hybrid Ink (from the Zen Hybrid Ink Cube set). By inking the flowers after I had cut them out, I was able to add more ink to the edges, giving the flowers a little more dimension. Next, I added a blob of Multi Matte Medium to the middle of each flower, then adhered some tiny iridescent seed beads (from this awesome bead selection). This looks more fiddly that it actually was - I dropped them on, then used the point of my scissors to move them about. The beauty of the Multi Matte Medium is that it is invisible when dry. A super cool adhesive.

I adhered my flowers onto some Fog Cardstock, adding some vellum Clustered Leaves behind them. The sentiment (from Friendship Messages) is white embossed.

I'm loving the combination of aqua and grey here…And how cool is that hybrid ink?? So awesome for sponging.
OK - that's all for today. I hope your week is off to a good start.
Bye for now.

Thanks Shaker Card

Hello! Today I have a shaker card on the Hero Arts blog. It features the very cool Thanks Stamp and Die set. I really adore these sets and have been using them a lot recently. They are so versatile… So for today's card, I mixed them with some heart paper from American Crafts' Serendipity paper pad, floral paper from Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge Pad, and some of my Lily White Shaker Selection.

I love the way the die cut word looks like it's floating above the card. :) And here's another closer look at my Lily White Shaker Selection - it looks different at every angle. :)
