Simon Says Stamp Christmas Week - Day 3

I'm back with another Simon Says Stamp Christmas Card. And today I decided to use a non holiday stamp! I chose the cute firework bursts from the Cupcake Party set, and thought they would make wonderful backgrounds for some die cut glittery stars, cut with the Large Holiday Shapes dies.

I stamped the fireworks with Hero Arts new Silver Shadow Ink - it's AWESOME. And the sentiment is created with the cool Christmas stamp set.

More to come tomorrow - see you then.

Simon Says Stamp Christmas Week - Day 2

It's time for Day 2 of my Simon Says Stamp Christmas Week. And today, I just HAD to play with the adorable Mannie stamp from the Happy Meowday set. If you don't already know, Kristina who designs many of SSS's stamps has a cute kitty named Mannie - and he looks JUST like my own cat Dennis. She has created a number of Mannie stamps, and I am always drawn to them…
All the papers on this card are from Studio Calico's 'Magical' 6 x 6 Pad (some really awesome Christmas papers in this collection).

To create the cute tag my kitty is sitting on, I used the Wrapped Mailing Label die - running it through my Cuttlebug, then making it shorter by running it though again to trim off one end… does that even make sense… :)

The sentiment is from the Christmas set.
Oh, and I added lots of yummy chunky glitter to my present. Sparkly…
And that's it for today - but more to come tomorrow.
Bye for now.

Simon Says Stamp Christmas Week - Day 1

Hello, and welcome to my Simon Says Stamp Christmas Week. This week, I am going to share some cards I created with some of Simon's exclusive stamps and dies… and stay tuned. I may have a giveaway too later in the week!
So today's card features a cute snowman created with the Lots of Dots stamp set. What a useful set, and just perfect for a wibbly wobbly snowman. :)

I created a snowy background for my tag with a stamp from the Nautical Borders set, and the sentiment is created by combining stamps from the Happy and Christmas stamp sets. Love that the fonts in all these little sets match up.

Before I go, have you seen that Simon Says Stamp is an Advanced Early Release store for Hero Arts, so has already got some of their brand new 2014 Catalog stamps on their website…
These are a couple of my faves of the early releases…

And check all the rest out HERE at SSS.
OK - so I'll be back tomorrow with my 2nd card.
Hope to see you then.

A Moxie Fab Thank You

I'm joining in what is probably the world's BIGGEST ever blog hop today to say a huge moxie-fab thank you to Cath Edvalson: wonder woman, trend spotter / setter, and brains behind the wonderful Moxie Fab World blog. Cath is no longer going to be writing for Moxie Fab World, and she will be sorely missed, as today's blog hop shows. I will be one of the many who will miss her.
If you have come from Sylvia's blog, then welcome.
So I created a card for her to wish her happiness in the future, wherever life leads her.

Lots of Pebbles stickers and fun stitching on this one… DSC_0005
Cath, if you are reading this, be happy. And THANK YOU for the years and years of wonderful inspiration. We appreciate it. x
Next stop on the hop is Lee Murphy.
If you want to add your own card to say goodbye to Cath, you can link it up HERE.
