Birthday Blooms

Today is Twopeas digital release day, and Hero Arts has LOTS of cute new kits.
This Easter Garden kit is one of them.  Perfect for Easter, but also lots of other events too.  I mean, what girl doesn't like flowers...

Here, I printed the flowers onto kraft, then again onto green and yellow polka dot papers.  I then stamped the text background (LOVE this stamp) and the sentiment.  Finally, a bit of simple paper piecing.
Green and yellow makes me think of the lovely daffodils I have springing up in the garden.  I love Spring.
Have a lovely day.

  10. Love this pringy card Lucy! I have a question though, so what do you now do with the yellow stems and the green flowers? Do you just make an "opposite" card? I love the idea of paper piecing but I don't like wasting so I always wonder what a person does with the unused pieces?
