My dream has always been to have enough flowers in my garden to pick some... and today I picked my first EVER bunch. It had to be small, as my plants are all still establishing, but I am so happy that I had to share it with you. :)
Can you see my flowering potatoes in the background - almost ready to dig.. and my gorgeous blue hydrangea.
I am so happy.

How much fun! It's been a joy watching you go from planting to picking :) Amazing how little it takes to make us happy! I noticed tomatoes nearly ready to pick yesterday, and was as giddy as a school girl...until....the copperhead reared it's ugly little neck! ugh...ewww...ugh! Love your beautiful flowers, my friend! Off to water mine now...

ReplyDeleteGarden fun ! I remember when my first ever rose bushes bloomed. I was so excited at the thought of having vases of roses, at will ! Of course the first few summers was more like -- single stem of a rose at will :) Love blue hydrangeas too. Looks like you have a good size bush there - I can see several nice sized blooms already.
