Today Simon Says Stamp has released their May Card Kit. Along with lots of other goodies, this month's kit has a super cute stamp set called Happy Days. 

To make my card, I watercolored a couple of the images (the small circle is the centre of the flower image) and layered them up with one of the Pinkfresh Studio stickers from the kit. I added them to a die cut tag which I splattered with yellow watercolour paint to match the splattered stickers.

Finally, I added some Lawn Fawn cord and adhered to a yellow Stitched Rectangle.

I'm particularly addicted to Hero Arts' Letterpress Paper at the moment - it's great for soft watercoloring, hand cutting and die cutting and has a lovely smooth feel.

Today I am excited to be sneaking a peek at a product in Hero Arts' amazing Summer catalog. The catalog will be available to view in full on Hero Arts on Monday, but this week, the Hero artists are sharing previews...

My card is created with the new Hedgehog Paper Layering Die. Isn't he just adorable??

I combined the die with stamps from Spring Hello by Lia and Many Everyday Messages, and used lovely textured patterned paper from Fancy Pants' Office Suite pad.

I kept embellishments to a minimum to allow full focus on the cutie hedgehog - just adding a tiny pearl for his nose.

Hello.

Today I have a sparkly shaker card for you. It features Simon Says Stamp's lovely Single Roses Dies, along with a gorgeous sentiment stamp from Clearly Besotted's Brushed Greetings II, patterned papers from Authentique's Crush collection, my own Fairy Dust Confetti Mix, and a yummy sparkly gemstone.

I simply layered everything up on a Stitched Tag, then adhered on top of a full shaker background. I am rather addicted to making these at the moment :)

Birthday Leaves

Hi.

This is my second post for today. To see my Clearly Besotted Stamps card, scroll down. :)

Today I am sharing this card on the Hero Arts blog. It features two gorgeous stamps: Foliage Bold Prints and Birthday Script.

To create my card, I first stamped the Foliage Bold Prints in Lime to Forever Green Ombre Ink on white card. Next, I used some green watercolour paint to splatter droplets onto the stamped panel to give out a more rustic look - I didn't want it to be too clean looking. Once the inks were dry, I stamped the Birthday Script sentiment in black ink on top, making sure to stamp it over the lightest part of the ombre background.

To finish, I stitched the white panel to some green cardstock, then embellished with green sequins and pearls.
