Joy to the World

Today I am sharing a card I created using the leftover die cut letters from the Joy Shaker Card I posted last week. I was going to just throw them away, but then changed my mind. I added a coating of Rock Candy Stickles, then sprinkled over Rock Candy glitter too for good measure. It looks like snow - so pretty. After adhering the letters to a die cut panel, I stamped the sentiment, then added a little die cut snowflake embellished with a lovely Sparklet.

So glad I did not throw away those pieces now - I feel like I got a bonus card. And I always need more Christmas cards.

Simon Says Stamp From All of Us Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp "From All Of Us" Blog Hop
Today I am joining in with some friends as we celebrate Simon Says Stamp's newest product release. If you have not started from the beginning, please head HERE to the Simon blog.
I decided to create a card with the adorable Simon and Dexter Christmas set. I stamped and heat embossed Simon and one of the gifts, then coloured with my Gansai Tambi watercolours. I die cut the images with the matching dies, then added them to more watercolour paper die cut with a Stitched Rectangle.

I mounted the panel onto some Lipstick cardstock, adding some gold cord and a wooden clothes pin.

As soon as my daughter Lily (aged nearly 4) saw my paints on the table, she wanted to get involved. She just loves painting, and watercolouring is her new favourite thing. So I gave her a couple of the new and beautiful Holiday Watercolor Doodles prints by Suzy Plantamura. These prints are gorgeous - just colour and they are good to go. My daughter painted the prints, then decorated with sequins and Stickles

All her own work - she even die cut them into Stitched Rectangles. I just mounted them onto some Lipstick and Green Leaf card for her.

Aren't they gorgeous - she's just crazy about rainbow colours. :)

Christmas Tags

Hi!
Today I have a couple of cute Christmas gift tags to share with you - I created them with the December Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. One of the yummy things in the kit is this sweet set of puffy stickers by Pinkfresh Studios. Seriously - puffy stickers take me straight back to my childhood!! So very awesome. :) I added a selection of stickers to a die cut tag, did a bit of stamping and stitching, then added a second tag behind and tied them together with some Lawn Fawn sparkle cord.

These stickers are so cute - they need nothing else. I'm going to create all my Christmas tags using every sticker on the sheet. Fantastic!

Oh how I love this kit… so much deliciousness in one little box! :)
