Colourful Flowers

Hello!
Today is my second guest design post for The Alley Way Stamps and I have another pair of cards for you. For these cards, I used Petal Pushers and Pick One.
First up, a colourful birthday card featuring lots of the smaller stamps in both sets. I stamped the flowers using a ton of different Hero Arts shadow inks (I use their lovely cubes - such good value and easy to store too) on some recycled cardstock and added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Sending and Wishing set.

Love the way these Hero Arts inks work - they give such a smooth and perfect result.

And my second card…
Here, I stamped the flowers from Petal Pushers on watercolour paper and heat embossed in white. After painting them, I dried with a heat gun, then trimmed and adhered to a die cut panel before adding a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp's Sending Happy Thoughts set.

I added some droplets of Calico Shine. It looks so pretty on this recycled cardstock.

Thanks to The Alley Way Stamps for having me today. Oh, and be sure to stop by their blog to see what Yana Smakula, January's other guest designer, has created - it's sure to be amazing!!!
Bye for now.

Birthday Kite

Hi!
Just popping in with a card created with a couple of new Simon Says Stamp products - the My Heart Soars die set, and one of my favourite new stamp sets: Sending and Wishing.
To make this card, I first die cut the kite from some Pebbles polka dot patterned paper. I added some silver stitching and pulled the threads to the bottom to create a tail. I die cut the clouds from some glitter paper I made (see this post HERE for instructions on how to make your own non-shed glitter paper). Finally, I added everything to some Fog cardstock. So easy.

Love all the sparkle created by the metallic thread and all the glitter. Yum.

OK - that's all for today.
Have a great day.

Hello Friend...

Hello!
Today I have a card over on the Simon Says Stamp blog. It features a mix of Simon and Hero Arts products including the cute bird die from the adorable Songbird Branch die set. :)

Mum...

Hello.
Today I have a card to share featuring lots of Simon Says Stamp products. When I saw the Tea for Three die set, I immediately thought of my mum. She collects antique china and I wanted to make her a card with a little tower of pretty china teacups. I chose some old MME patterned paper with a vintage feel, added the die cut word and a stamped sentiment, and some pretty ribbon and twine.

These Simon tag dies are one of my all time favourite supplies. I am going to overuse these so much!
