Hello, and a very happy Monday.

Today I am sharing a card created with products from Studio Calico's new 'Storytime' collection. This collection is just ADORABLE. I just love making baby cards...

I used papers from the 6 x 6 pad, and that sweet badge, along with a Paper Smooches stamp from THIS set, THIS tag die, and lots of Calico Shine Mister Huey's.

Pink... I just LOVE it. :)

So... one of the first things I opened up the minute I felt better was my Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit. It's a good one!!

And my favourite thing in the kit... this cute little metal bicycle.

Love the MME papers too...

And the stamp set is FAB.

News, winner AND A CARD!

Hi. Me again...

So, I am back with 3 things.

NEWS:
I am sure those of you who have followed my blog for a long time may have been able to guess the reason for my 3 month absence from the card making world... so yes, I can confirm that I am pregnant! Yay! Baby No. 2 is due January 2nd which seems a long way away, but also scarily close. I am 20 weeks, so half way there! It's been a rough few months but I am all better now, and VERY excited for the future. We have not found out the sex, we like surprises too much!

I hope that explains my prolonged absence! :)

A CARD

And finally, a CARD. A real, actual, just-made-it-last-night card! I've ben itching to use all the new Simon Says products, and finally found the creative energy to put them to use. I actually made 5 cards yesterday. My first creations in 3 months. A good day!!!

So, for this card I used the new Leaf Column and Leaf Column Outline dies. I coloured each petal with my Inktense pencils, washed over with water then added some Stickles. Then I added the outline die cut on top. The sentiment is from the Petal Pieces set. Something simple to get me started again. :)

And here's a close up of the rainbowy-glittery goodness.

Giveaway!!!

OK, so I am seriously sorry for my loooooooooooooooong absence.

But I am starting to sketch some designs, and I will be back VERY soon with some cards. Yay!

And what better way to come back than with a giveaway!

I have filled a box with supplies - lots of bits from all sorts of manufacturers - and have it ready to send to a UK winner. 

Sorry it is UK only - the cost of sending abroad has rocketed, and it is too expensive to keep doing international giveaways. But I will do another International one soon, I promise. :)

Oooh - look!! New things!

Although I have not been able to create much recently (life has taken over a bit), I still have my beady eye on what's new and exciting. And I have a few favourites to share with you today.

Smiley Card Set

Hello!
I have a little card set to share that is perfect for using up all those punctuation stickers that you get left with so often... I love alphabet stickers but I pretty much never use the punctuation ones, so had to come up with a solution.
I grabbed the cool Square Sayings stamp set by Simon Says Stamp, some fun graphic patterned paper, and voila! A fun card set and so easy to throw together. This would be a fun gift set to give a friend. :)

The possibilities are endless… and they would work with so many different sentiment stamps.
