Some digi cards... and some winners!

I've just completed a custom order for a dear friend who wanted some Christmas cards for members of her family. I chose to base my designs on some cards I made last year, making a few changes and altering the sentiments accordingly.
Here's what I came up with...
A really Christmassey card made using a tree stamp from Hero Arts Holiday Houses digikit. My Christmas tree is always decorated in red, silver and white so I couldn't resist them on this card. I added lots of Hero Arts bling (THESE, THESE and THESE) and a typed sentiment.

Next, a card made with the Tree-Mendous Digikit. Again, I added lots of bling - sticking to silver and white on this one (THESE and THESE).

And finally, a card made with a cute little guy from the Christmas Critters Digikit.  I love that little penguin. :)

I hope she likes them...

Season's Greetings

It's time for a new challenge at The Ribbon Girl, and the December theme is Ho Ho Ho. You need to create a Christmas card. Pretty easy, given the time of year, right?
So I decided to create another negative die cut card. I used some tree dies from THIS Hero Arts set, and a sentiment from THIS SSS stamp set, along with 3 yummy red ribbons from The Ribbon Girl - THIS, THIS and THIS) By the way, that denim ribbon is simply FABULOUS.

Simple, but the ribbon adds so much texture and dimension.

Bye for now.

Star of Wonder and a giveaway!

Hi, I'm back with another card made using Simon Says Stamp's December card kit.
For this card, I used some of the yummy ribbon from the kit to create a stitched ribbon tree, then added a sentiment from the stamp set. I embellished with some cute Studio Calico tiny wooden stars which I covered in Star Dust Stickles.
