Rainbow butterflies and a winner

Hi.  I'm here today with a card I created for the Hero Arts blog last week. Maybe you saw it there. It uses the yummy Papillons digkit (again) ;)

It's a Girl.. and a giveaway.

Hello. I hope you are having a great weekend.  I am - got a few cards made for the current Paper Crafts call - had to get in the Christmas spirit which wasn't easy. :)
Anyway, today there's a new challenge starting over at The Ribbon Girl blog.  The colours are pink, aqua and orange.  Initially, I was a bit stumped, then I remembered my new Sugar and Spice stickers from Doodlebug and I was all set.  I needed a card for my lovely neighbours - their first granddaughter was born on Thursday.
I used Ribbon Girl's yummy Pom Pom trim and pink Heart Pins.

Here you can see the yummy glittery stickers close-up. Love!!! :)

I hope you get a chance to enter the challenge.  All the details are here.
Giveaway!!!
And because I love The Ribbon Girl, I thought I'd have a giveaway in their honour. I have 5 metres of THIS lovely ribbon in pink, red, blue, green and peacock to give away - 1 metre of each colour.  To be in with a chance of winning, just leave a comment below.  Good luck.
Have a lovely rest of weekend.

Everything Good...

Hello, I hope you have had a great week.  Today I have a colourful card made using an image from the new Papillons digkit by Hero Arts.  I resized the butterfly to create the 5, layered them over digi papers and printed. Some really old MME floral paper, some cute text paper, a happy sentiment (slightly wonky for good measure!), ribbon, ric rac and stitching finished it all off. Fun to make.

Thought I'd include a close up - I stitched along the ric rac here - love trying new things. :)

Happy days!

Hello!

Hello.
Today I have another card made with the new Papillons digikit... yes, I love this kit! :)
I had fun resizing the butterflies here. :)  They come coloured (like this) or black and white. Perfect!  The yummy orange paper is from MME's Howdy Doody 6 x 6 pad... LOVE this pad, the text paper is Lily Bee and the sentiment is from THIS stamp set. I also used some fun cardstock strips called Half the Edge by Bazzill Basics.  These are cute. :)

Oh the joys of digital. :)
Back soon.
Bye!!

Sympathy Poppies

Hero Arts released a second digikit this week - it's called Oriental Poppies.  The original stamp is gorgeous, and this kit offers the poppy stamps as individual images.
I think poppies are good for sympathy cards, and I created this card by paper piecing the poppies over Old Letter Writing, and adding a sentiment from the With Sympathy stamp set.

Back tomorrow with more... see you then.

Congratulations

OK, I am seriously happy. Hero Arts have released a new butterfly digikit.  HOORAY. The Flutterbies and Winged Friends kits have long been favourites, and now I have a new kit to play with.  It's called Papillons.  I love the original stamp set, and am thrilled that I can now play with these beauties in Word.
So here is a card I made using this kit.  Just simple coopying and pasting in Word to create a tone on tone background, and a sentiment from the Say It All stamp set.

I made this card for a sweet friend who just got a great new job. Yay!
Enjoy your day.
