Rainbow Daisy

Hello.  Hope you are well.  It's a gorgeous day here in England... do you have sunshine??
Here's a rainbow card I made using a gorgeous Hero Arts digikit, Doodle Daisy. Love the potential of this kit...  so many possibilities, so little time. :)  Here I just printed it onto some gorgeous digi polka dot papers, added lots of gems and stuck to the card.  SO simple.

Oh, and did you see the new Paper Crafts call - they want RAINBOW cards.  So if you have not yet shared yours with me, SAVE IT, and submit it HERE.  You never know...
Hope you are having a good day - my sweet students got their exam results today, and I am a VERY happy teacher. :)  Yay!

Rainbow Card Set

OK, so I set myself an afternoon challenge.
Use up some old products and make a set of cards entirely from scrap papers!  I gave myself unlimited choice of stamps, because a girl's gotta have fun!  And, of course, there had to be a rainbow theme.  Oh, and I wanted LOTS of birthday cards as I never have enough.
So... I got back from the midwife (heard my baby's heartbeat!) on a huge high, and set to work.
3 hours later and they're finished.  And I am EXHAUSTED. :)
So here it is... my rainbow themed card set:

I think I like the dinosaur one best. :)
Hope you get a chance to play along with my rainbow challenge.  See yesterday's post for details.
Have a great evening.

Rainbow Week

Hello and welcome to rainbow week on my blog.
I'm so happy at the moment, and what better way to express it than with rainbows.  So, this week I'll share some rainbow cards and am hoping that some of you might play along.  There might even be a rainbow prize in it for a lucky winner.
Today's card is made using one of my new favourite stamps, the cute pencil from Hero Arts Brilliant set.  This was so easy (and fun) to make.  Some stamping on white and my favourite Doodlebug papers, cutting out in front of the TV (always a pleasure), and a bit of paper piecing. Yum.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts My Type set.

So... let me see what you can make with a rainbow theme.
Upload your creations sometime before next Monday morning and I'll choose a winner.
Have a fun day - I plan on making 16 cards and painting the front of the house!

Birthday Browns!

Hello.  Just sharing a birthday card I made yesterday.  Lots of yummy patterned paper, and more of those delicious Studio Calico butterflies.  I've always admired card makers who use seam binding... and luckily, The Ribbon Girl has loads in stock.  It makes for a lovely vintage-y finish.

I have a sketch book full of card designs I want to make today, so I'm off to create.
Hope you have a great day, whatever you're doing.
It's nearly the weekend!!! Yay. :)
