Hello.
I'm back with my second Clearly Besotted Stamps September teaser cards. And today I am showcasing Arctic Animals, another adorable animal set. To make this card, I first did some ink smooshing (inspired by the incredible Laura Bassen). I've been wanting to try this technique for AGES but was afraid… needless to say, it was so much fun, and easier than I had thought it would be. I used some Salty Ocean Distress Ink, pressing it onto some acetate and adding Calico Shine Mister Hueys before pressing it onto some watercolour paper. I added a few droplets of water and flicked some ink onto it too for extra detail.
Love love LOVE the fact that there are mirror image bears in this set. Aren't they cute? I just added some colour to their cheeks and noses, and they were good to go. The sentiment is also from the set.
The Calico Shine adds just a touch of sparkle as do the sequins from my Blue Topaz Shaker Selection.
