Floating Leaves

I love this stamp, but for some strange reason, I never bought it. Great news: now it's gone digi...
The Floating Leaf digikit is one of the 7 new kits released today at twopeas.  Here I just printed it onto some Celadon Layering Paper, added a sentiment and some ribbon and voila. Simple and quick card.
Don't forget, if you have any digi questions, check out my Videos and Tutorials and FAQs pages. :)

Huge flower and some news...

Hello everyone.  Happy Monday.  I hope your week has started well.
Here's a card I made using Spellbinders and Ranger dies and Hero Arts stamps.  Three of my favourite companies :)
I am loving seeing all my Spring flowers bursting out in the lovely sunshine we've had recently, and this card is inspired by them!
And now for the news... have you seen that a new card inspiration and challenge website has opened its doors... although officially it doesn't start until next week, they are hosting a week of blog hops with loads of familiar faces. :)  it's called Lily Pad Cards, and it's going to be AWESOME I promise you.  Get on over and check it out.  There are some AMAING prizes up for grabs!!!

Here's a shiny and glittery card for a little girl.  Love these Doodlebug gemstones.  They're HUGE and GORGEOUS.
Happy it's Wednesday, but I WISH it was Thursday...  this week is dragging.

I made this card using three new release stamps :)
First, the FAB tag and sentiment which are from the new For the Archives Tags and For the Archives Words.  The flower is from the Easter Garden kit.
I love my Music Background stamp... especially tone on tone... I found this scrap in my scrap drawer and couldn't resist it...
Have a happy day.

Here is a card I had rejected.
Check out all the other 'rejects' on Amber's blog.

Happy New...

I'm here today to share a card I made for my sister, so Emily - NO PEEKING.
I used the new Hero Arts In the Kitchen digikit.
Happy New Kitchen
I've never made a 'new kitchen' card before - but she's so excited about it that I couldn't resist!
Have you made any 'Happy New...' cards that are a bit unusual?  Tell me about them. :)
Have a great Saturday.  I am in my studio, playing... of course. :)

Very Special...

Here's a card I made with my new Little Girl Stickers by Echo Park.  Very clean and simple.  The cute sentiment is from Hero Arts Sending Smiles set.
Very special...
Sorry again for my lack of posts recently.  School work is overwhelming me at the moment.  it's getting close to exam time, and my poor students are working really hard!
Hope you are well.

Birthday Blooms

Today is Twopeas digital release day, and Hero Arts has LOTS of cute new kits.
This Easter Garden kit is one of them.  Perfect for Easter, but also lots of other events too.  I mean, what girl doesn't like flowers...
Here, I printed the flowers onto kraft, then again onto green and yellow polka dot papers.  I then stamped the text background (LOVE this stamp) and the sentiment.  Finally, a bit of simple paper piecing.
Green and yellow makes me think of the lovely daffodils I have springing up in the garden.  I love Spring.
Have a lovely day.

Sweet Birthday

Today I am guest designing for Pink Petticoat.  They just released one of the CUTEST digi stamps ever: Sweet Treats.  This little cake stand was just calling out for some glitter....
And the sentiment is also part of today's release... love it.
Mmmm, love glitter... this is just pretty Star Dust Stickles.
Hope your week has started well.
Did you create anything for the current Paper Crafts call?  I did!  I'm addicted to Paper Crafts at the moment...

Get Well Soon

Sorry for the absence - I've had so much to do at work, I've not even had time to blog! Crazy!
Here's a card I made a while ago and never remembered to share!
LOVE this Basic Grey chipboard (details below)...
So happy it's Saturday.  Hope you get to have a little craft time today.  I will :)

Thanks for all the LOVELY comments on yesterday's card!  You are all so sweet and kind.  In appreciation of your thoughtfulness, I picked a random commenter to win a little prize... and that winner is... Ulina / Apricot Bubbles.  Email me Ulina, and I'll send you something...
So onto today's card.  And yes, it's another reject! :)  One good thing about rejects, I get to share them with you.  I used some yummy new Prima paper on this card.
Oh, and in answer to a question left yesterday, Paper Crafts will email you if your card has been selected.  They always put the date you will be contacted by on the call information.  Once the deadline is passed, if you have not received an email, you can assume your card was not selected.
And don't forget to check out their new call.  Quite a hard one I am thinking....
P.S. See on the sidebar I've created a Facebook page for sharing my fave things....

Paper Crafts Reject!

I've so enjoyed seeing the splurge of Paper Crafts reject cards over the last few days - so many AMAZING cards out there!  The competition must have been pretty fierce seeing some of the cards that DIDN'T make it!  Can't wait to see the actual issue.
So I thought I'd share a reject today too.
This card used Sketch 5.  I LOVE this sketch.  Clean and simple and just my style.
I used 2 HA digikits for this card - the flower is from Mix and Match Digikit and the sentiment from Words of Love.  Love that I can make a big sentiment with digi stamps :)
Loads of Prima Pearls here too...
Have a great Monday.

Fabulous Day...

Welcome to Jane's Doodles Blog Hop.
If you've arrived from Kelly's blog, Hi!  If not, click HERE to go to the start of the hop.
We are playing with Jane's FABULOUS rubber stamps.  For my card, I used the gorgeous polka dot stamp and combined it with a greeting from Hero Arts Yummy Treats set.  I added Glossy Accents and glitter to each dot.  It took a while, but I love the rainbow of sparkle :)
You can buy Jane's cute stamps from her Etsy store.
Hop on now to Donna and see what wonders she has created.  I do so love Donna's cards. :)
If you get lost - here's the list:
Have FUN!

Sending Caring Thoughts

I love combining digi and 'real' stamps.  And this card features the Dandelion Wisps digi stamp from Pink Petticoat combined with a 'real' Hero Arts sentiment and background.
Love this ruffle ribbon from The Ribbon Girl... mmmm.
And did you see the post over at Paper Crafts today.  They got a record 2760 submissions for their new Go-To Sketches for Cardmakers, and one of the top 3 favourite sketches was one of mine.  I couldn't be more proud! :)  Let me know if you played along with sketch number 6!

I am lucky enought to have a few cards published in Paper Crafts Magazine this month.  Here is one of them:
I used Hero Arts Sew Crafty Digikit to create those cute little spools.
Check out Jennifer McGuire's amazing card on the front cover too... she's so amazing!
And finally, look at THIS cute new digikit released today!!!  Love that banana stamp!
Enjoy your Tuesday.
