Welcome to the 350 Cards and Gifts Blog Hop, celebrating the publication of Paper Crafts newest magazine.
I am so lucky to have 6 projects published in this magazine. This call was a real experience for me... it was my first time creating other items, not just cards. I have 2 card sets, a bookmark, a gift bag, some gift tags, and a gift card holder featured in the magazine. This makes me so happy. :)
For this blog hop, we were asked to create a project using one of the fabulous patterns from the magazine. All the templates and patterns can be found HERE at the Paper Crafts Website. I have created a project usingAlicia Thelin's Housewarming Home Container Pattern. You can find her fab project on page 100 of the magazine.
I loved making this - I stamped the windows and doors from a house from Hero Arts Mi Casaset onto 7Gypsies patterned paper, then stuck them to the kraft house which I'd stamped lightly with Graph Background. Simple and fun. :) Thanks for the inspiration Alicia.
Now, make sure you visit all these amazing artists' blogs, all of whom have loads of projects in the magazine:
Finally, leave a comment by midnight on Sunday April 10th here on my blog as I am giving away a copy of 350 Cards and Gifts. Yay! (Giveaway closed and winner contacted.)
This month, I am thrilled to have 6 projects featured inPaper Crafts 350 Cards and Gifts. Here is one of them, shared here at the Paper Crafts blog last week...

Hope your week has started well... I am desperate for Friday - I have 2 weeks off work!!! Hooray!
This card combines paper from THIS gorgeous pad, with a sentiment from THIS yummy set. It's so EASY making cards when you have such great products. I can't say enough how much I love Hero Arts and My Mind's Eye.
Anyway - have a happy rest of your weekend. see you Monday.
To make the tag, I lightly stamped Hero Arts Raindrop Background onto kraft card with Antique Linen distress ink, then stitched the edge and inked with Vintage Photo ink. I used more yummy flocked Thickers, inking the edges to coordinate with the tag. The fox is stamped onto more Gertie paper, and his nose is a little Hero Arts pearl. Yummy seam bindingand twine from The Ribbon Girlfinished it off.
